How To Get Cheap Hotels

Living in hotels can be an expensive job, especially when you have a budget to take care of. In this case, it is best if you look for ways to get cheap hotel rooms for yourself. Now, this can be tough, considering most hotels’ prices are skyrocketing. However, if you manage to make the right choices, you will land some affordable hotel rooms.

For your ease, we have jotted down the best ways to get cheap hotels. These methods will help you out a lot as they are known to have allowed travelers to save a lot of money on their trips.

Sign up in hotel/booking sites

We understand that not everyone is comfortable signing up to these sites, but if you want to benefit from the various deals the members enjoy, you will have to sign up. You will find that the members are granted special discounts and even free nights after certain days spent in a hotel. If you are not interested in receiving emails from these sites on a regular basis, you can easily sign up for a one-time membership. It will save you from any spam emails that you might get otherwise.

Pick a different neighborhood

Another thing that you can do to get cheap hotels is to find a different neighborhood. By this, we mean to get a hotel that is away from the center of the city. Usually, the hotels near the tourist attractions are way more expensive than those located a little far away. You will find a massive difference between the prices, and they will account for a lot when you spend more than one day at the hotel.

Find last-minute deals

While exploring your options, you will know that booking a room beforehand can be more expensive than getting it last-minute. Many websites can help you with last-minute bookings and find your hotel rooms with excellent service. However, you need to know that not all hotels can grant you low prices in this situation. If you are traveling to a place with not many hotels available, you will want to book prior to your flight. This will help you in finding the perfect room and not getting into any trouble upon arrival.

Stay midweek

Many pieces of evidence suggest that staying on Friday and Saturday in a hotel room is actually more expensive than the other days of the week. Hence, if you can, choose to stay midweek. This will help save a lot of money that you can then use for buying other products. Staying midweek can be accomplished if you are on vacation, but if you are on a business trip, you might not be able to benefit from this trick.

Do bargaining

Once you have reached your desired hotel, you can show them the compared prices with other hotels. This might not always work, but often the hotel managers lower the costs for you. You can pick some cheaper hotel prices and show those to them. In this way, your chances of landing yourself in a cheap hotel are increased.

Use the sharing accommodation

To choose an affordable place to live in, you actually have options other than the hotels. There are many houses or apartments available that can be rented for your travel tome. These apartments are owned by people who are away for the time being so that you can have the entire place to yourself. This is way cheaper than the hotels as these apartments provide you with all the facilities you might need, from a kitchen to a personal toilet. You also have the freedom to carry out your daily activities with more comfort.

Choose a business hotel

Cheap hotels near me are not hard to find if one knows the right tricks. With that being said, we have noticed that these hotels have a pattern in themselves. The resorts that might provide more facilities are, of course, more expensive as well. If you choose a business hotel, you can save a lot of money because these are cheap hotels. Going on a vacation means to explore the city you are in and not just the hotel room. If you compromise a little on the room, you can have enough money to explore the land some more. Moreover, business hotels are not that bad anyway. They have excellent service too that you can enjoy.

Book longer stays

One more tip that can benefit you is that if you book for longer times, for example, booking for seven nights would cost cheaper than booking for six nights. This is because the owner of the hotel saves money when a guest stays for a more extended period as it reduces the cost of room changeovers. One day will not affect your schedule a lot, but it will help you save a lot of money. Therefore, make the right decision.

Use your affiliations

A great trick that can come in handy is for you to use your affiliations. Whether you are a student or related to government jobs, you are more than likely to get discounts on your hotel room. This is a brilliant offer for you all and can guarantee cheap hotels. In fact, no other trick is as viable as this one.

Join a hotel loyalty program

One thing that hotel owners love is loyal customers, and why not? They promise regular income for the hotels resulting in them having improved facilities. You can benefit greatly by joining a Hotel Loyalty Program as they will grant you with liberties that no one else gets. There are several discounts and even free nights that you can avail through this program.

Hopefully, the things mentioned above are enough to get you cheap hotels. If you work on these tricks correctly, you will notice how much money you can save through them. You will regret not using these tricks before, but as it is said, better late than never! So pack your luggage and embark on your budget-friendly travel journey.

How to Get Cheap Hotels in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The thriving metropolis is teeming with world-class restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. Whether you come to experience an incredible musical performance, gamble in the casinos, or dine at one of the many Michelin-starred restaurants, there’s plenty of excitement to be had by everyone.

While Sin City is not typically considered to be a budget destination, you can definitely save money and still make the most of your trip. The words ‘cheap hotels’ and ‘Las Vegas’ put together may seem like an oxymoron, but with a little effort you can find a cheap hotel for your stay that feels like a dream. Hotels here can get pricey, but by following these tips you can find the perfect hotel without breaking the bank.

Here are the top 5 tips on getting cheap hotels in Las Vegas:

1. Travel during the week.

Weekends in Vegas will always be exceedingly more expensive than week days, so avoid them if you can. You will find far more options for cheap hotels if your stay is from Monday to Thursday than you would if your stay was from Thursday to Sunday. If there’s a convention or major event during your stay, that will impact the prices, but on average week days will always be cheaper than weekends.

2. Use Travel Savings Deals to book your hotel.

By using Travel Savings Deals to find your perfect hotel, you are guaranteed the best deal. This platform takes away all the work of finding a great hotel for your stay by doing it for you. You simply select your location and you can sort by a number of options like price, guest rating, and popularity. Travel Savings Deals guarantees savings of up to 80% on incredible hotels for your trip to Las Vegas. Rather than scouring dozens of sites to find a hotel, this one pulls prices from all over the internet for you.

3. Be flexible on your location.

It’s no secret that if you want to stay on the strip, you’re going to pay significantly more than you would at an off strip hotel. You don’t have to stay on the trip to enjoy the full Las Vegas experience, so be flexible on your location if possible. This will enable you to find more cheap hotels than you ever would in a prime spot like the strip.

4. Be patient in your search.

Rather than booking the moment you find a good deal, try to hold out for a great deal. Check back on Travel Savings Deals a few times before booking, unless you get lucky and immediately find a deal that you know you can’t pass up. Cheap hotels are out there and the rates are constantly changing.

5. Be flexible on your dates.

If you have a general idea of when you want to travel but have flexibility on the specific dates, use this to your advantage. Try changing the arrival and departure dates around a few times on Travel Savings Deals to see which dates enable you to get the best cheap hotels.

Singer Island, Florida – A Calm Hideaway in the Midst of Coronavirus Chaos.

“The water is beautiful isn’t it ?” the patron next to me at the Hilton Singer Island’s beach bar asked me. It was 5 pm. I had just finished a day of remote work and had decided to take a bit of a “local vacation” to cut through the isolation of staying indoors. The Coronavirus regulations were sweeping the US, but here in Singer Island, some venues still had open doors.

“Yeah it really is. The DOW might have closed at 20,000 pts, but the water is definitely great,” I replied, staring at the TV screen behind the bar announcing the market closing plunge. My solitary companion laughed and nodded in agreement. I wished him a safe and healthy vacation as I grabbed my iced lemon-water to go from the bartender who wiped the counters down with sanitizer to kill whatever germs may have crawled off our elbows. Every staff member at the Hilton took precautionary sanitation measures, I was really impressed with their diligence.

I was heading out to take advantage of a complimentary hour of equipment rentals provided with a night’s stay at the hotel. Paddle boarding on the turquoise water seemed like the perfect after work activity.

If you couldn’t hear what people were conversing about, you wouldn’t know we were in the middle of a worldwide pandemic and economic crisis. By the pool families swam freely and others tanned in the Florida sun sipping cosmos and sangria from plastic cups. One family of a mother and her two daughters sat at a table with a centerpiece made of a family sized bottle of hand-sanitizer (likely purchased after a 3 hour wait in-line at Costco) and a few bottles of water. The new norm for picnic time.

Getwetsports has a booth at the Hilton just as you walk out towards the beach. Rentals are available by the hour, half day, or day, for paddle boards (SUP), surboards, kayaks, bikes, and much more. Use the links to check out their webpage.

A purple flag belowed in the wind, warning beach-goers of the “close to shore” presence of various marine life, man-o-wars, jellyfish, and other creatures that go bump in the day time. I grabbed my SUP board and walked into the waves. If you are planning a day of water sports on Singer Island, be sure to check out the water and weather conditions, especially if you have less experienced adventurers with you. If you haven’t been stung by a jellyfish in your lifetime, take it from me that it’s not an experience that’s worth the bragging rights. It’s just plain painful and leaves unsightly swelling for about two weeks (take it for what it’s worth, I got stung on my forehead of all places a few years ago, but I digress).

Getting out past the waves crashing on shore was difficult but well worth the effort. The water off Singer Island is perfect surfing water if you are a beginner. The rip on this particular day was just the perfect strength, the waves a perfect height for learners. I really recommend this beach if you want to take surf lessons.

As the sun lowered in the sky, I retired to my room which had the most comfortable california king paired with a stunning 5th floor view of the ocean. Having seen the measures taken by the staff to sanitize every surface that came in contact with air, I felt very assured that their cleaning team had done the same in my room. I could breathe easy.

I am writing this post because, as a South Florida local, I am seeing a lot of my favorite hotel chains and small businesses make huge efforts to ensure that their customers are well taken care of. We have all received the daily emails of what each business is doing, but an email is one thing, reality is another. I wanted to vouch for the Hilton because I was really impressed. Amidst all the chaos, there are always helpers.

If you have a trip planned to the Hilton, you can rest assured that you will be in safe and clean hands.
